Our answer to the new Olympic discipline “Extreme Slalom” – and so much more.
If you want to succeed in tough competition, you need a kayak that is both lightning-fast and highly maneuverable – a boat that handles radical moves without hesitation. Wait – that sounds like a kayak that would also be insanely fun on real whitewater, right? Exactly! You could say the Barracuda is a smaller Joker with a flatter tail.
To achieve this, we refined the whole platform: the hull is slightly narrower to generate more speed with powerful, vertical paddle strokes. And so that this speed isn’t lost at the next stopper, we equipped the Barracuda with a redesigned rocker and steeper bow sidewalls.
And the stern? That’s where the party starts. With significantly more slice behind the seat, the tail cuts through the water like a knife through butter.
But don’t worry – the Barracuda is perfectly balanced, allowing the slim stern to release easily and give you that extra boost when you need it.
